What is FOREX trading in simple term

One of the first questions that needs to be asked before you actually decide to start trading on the Forex market is "What is Forex Trading?" Only when you have the answer to this can you determine whether investing time and money into this will actually be of benefit to you.Forex trading is where currencies from various countries are traded against each other. For example across Europe (except the UK) the currency in circulation here is known as the Euro and in the USA the currency in circulation there is known as the US Dollar. If when trading on the Forex you were to buy the Euro at the same time as selling the US dollar then you would be carrying out what is known as going long. The word Forex is actually an acronym for the "Foreign Exchange".Today there are places online where trades can be made that you place either through a broker or a market maker. To place an order normally requires only a few clicks of a button and once the broker has received it they then pass it on to a partner in the Interbank Market so that your position can be filled. Once you close the trade the broker will then close your position on the Interbank Market and then credits your Forex trading account with any losses or gains you have made. Sometimes such things can occur within just a few seconds.Of course when it comes to trading on the Forex market in the beginning you make find things difficult to understand. So it is best if you actually undergo some training first this way you will learn more about the way in which the Forex market works. Also you can learn about things such as Forex trading charts which can help to provide you with a better understanding of how the market works.Today when it comes to Forex trading charts there are numerous different kinds to select from. However initially we would recommend that you use the line types. The reason for using these is that they provide very clear concise information so being able to read and understand it becomes a whole lot easier. However of course as you become understand more about what is Forex trading then you can look at using more complicated bar graphs instead. These provide you with more detailed information and allow you to see quickly whether the price has risen or fallen.
